Our Robotics-as-a-Service model

With Pio's Robotics-as-a-Service model, you buy the grid and bins, while a monthly fee covers the robots, ports, and Pio software. This gives you the flexibility to adjust robot capacity as your needs change, without overcommitting or compromising on performance.

The model is designed to remove traditional barriers to warehouse scaling, such as a large upfront capital investment. Whether you're expanding gradually or responding to seasonal peaks, you can add capacity when you need it.

Whether you're gearing up for peak season or managing rapid growth for the long term, you have the flexibility. With booster bots, Pio allows you to add robot capacity when you need it, and dial it back when you don't.

How it works:

Add booster bots temporarily for peaks or add robots long term to allow growth.

Adaptable commitment
A minimum rental period of just 3 months at the system level means you can flex capacity without a long term commitment.

Simple setup
A simple flex management fee covers logistics and setup when adding robots. When the peak is over, there's no charge to deactivate them.

This gives you the freedom to align automation costs with real-time business needs, without paying for capacity you don't use.

Pricing and Terms for Robots

Commitment
- Minimum rental period: 3 months
- Extendable in 30-day increments

Booster bots are temporary and do not include additional ports.

Flex management fee (per request)
- 1–3 robots: €1,000
- 4–6 robots: €2,000
- 7–9 robots: €3,000

Billing and cancellation
- Charge per robot, per month
- Billing starts when robots are activated
- 30 days’ notice required (billing continues during this period)

Ports are the workstations where robots deliver bins and your team picks. As your picking and packing demands increase, your system can grow with you. While your system includes two redundant ports as standard, additional ports can be added based on robot capacity to keep performance smooth.

Additional ports are included in the monthly cost when scaling robots long-term, not with booster bots.
