Plan and prep

01
You'll get an on-site visit to assess every inch of your warehouse.
This includes analysis of your warehouse, workflow, and goals. This clarifies exactly what your setup needs, and any quirks your space might have.
Your tech stack and software needs will be reviewed to enable smooth integration.
Our system is designed to be plug-and-play, syncing with your online store in seconds. If you use Shopify, you simply connect the system, and everything syncs up with no additional work. If you use another ecommerce platform, our open API still allows for seamless integration. 
You'll verify that your building is in sound condition, and in adherence to local regulations.
Every state has its own permitting requirements. You'll receive initial guidance on the permitting process to help keep everything as straightforward as possible.

Installation

Day 01

You'll receive the building materials.

All the materials for the system will be delivered right to your warehouse.

Day 01-03

A team of certified experts will complete the grid installation.

Our partners manage the physical setup of your system, ensuring everything is installed correctly and safely. You don't need technical expertise—the installation team will handle the heavy lifting. They'll lay the groundwork and erect the aluminum grid, getting straight to work alongside current operations to minimize downtime.

Day 04

The system will be commissioned.

First, the Controller is set up to establish stable communication with all the modules on the grid. Next, all hardware is calibrated, followed by a comprehensive set of system tests to ensure everything functions as expected. The process is completed with a series of quality and safety checks to ensure long-term reliability and safe operations.

Day 05

You'll transfer your inventory into your Pio cube.

The system is handed off to you for inserting your bins, dividers, and products. Once completed, you're ready to start picking.

Training and support

Your team will go through onboarding and training.
Your team will enjoy a clear, in-depth training of our system. We designed Pio to be extremely user-friendly, so it doesn't take long for the average user to pick things up.
Your team will get comfy with using the Pio app.
This is your chance to test things out, ask questions, and get into the flow of using Pio.
You're ready to go!
By this point, you're set to start picking, packing, and sending off orders in record time. But of course, our Operations Team is always in reach, to make sure you have what you need.

We stay invested in your success.

That means we continue to provide close support—problem-solving, improving, and cheering you on from the sidelines as we watch your business take off.

Data analysis and reporting

We keep an eye on your operations to make sure your system is running as efficiently as possible. Our reports give you insights into performance metrics, operational bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, empowering you to make data-driven decisions that enhance productivity and streamline workflows.

Robot Scalability

We give you the flexibility to scale your robot fleet to handle seasonal demands. That means you have the option to add booster robots for holiday order peaks. You can also remove robots, or swap in new robots to keep your system running smoothly as your needs evolve.
