Bins
Bins are found in the grid — they’re stacked next to and on top of each other (as ‘cubes’). Each bin is fully recyclable, highly durable and waterproof, so if something spills it won’t affect the rest of your inventory.
Split them up
Each bin is designed to fit all kinds of things in all kinds of ways. You can use adjustable dividers to create up to 16 different compartments. Choose what works for you.

Something fragile? No worries.
Our robots handle everything with care, whether that’s a pair of socks or a glass vase — they don’t discriminate.

Oversized items
Our bins don’t fit oversized items like skis, but scan them into the Pio Platform and they’ll be added to your picking flow.

We’re here for you. Browse our FAQ or get in touch.
How long does a bin retrieval take?
The Pio system is designed to constantly look for the next pick, to ensure that picking times are as fast as possible. Our robots stay prepared, bringing bins higher in the grid so they can be accessed exactly when needed. The system is also designed to keep high movers at the top of the grid for faster access.
A direct retrieval (Like an inspection) that has no preparation time will take from 20 seconds to 3.5 minutes, depending on where the bin is in the cube.
What are the inner dimensions of the bins?
The dimensions are approximately 600mm x 400mm x 310mm (23.6in x 15.75in x 12.2in).
