On the Pio website, you’ll find approximate upfront investment prices for Pio systems. Internally, we refer to these as Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) prices.
The purpose of these prices is to set expectations for the customers early in the sales process. With expectations set, there are less surprises and the customer can start to arrange suitable financing at a very early stage.
The prices have been reached on cooperation with our distributors and represent an average. As a distributor, you are entitled to price the upfront investment as you deem appropriate.
What’s Included in ROM Prices
To ensure consistency, ROM prices include the most common elements of a Pio installation:
- Hardware
- Grid and Service Tower (purchased by distributor from Pio/AutoStore)
- Bins, walls, and dividers
- Installation
- Project management
- Margin
What’s Not Included in ROM Prices
Some costs are excluded from ROM pricing, as they can vary depending on the customer’s site and needs. These may include:
- Freight
- Mobilization/Demobilization
- iPads, scanners, label printers, Service PC
- Permitting/Engineering
- Building modifications
- Fire suppression upgrades
